Getting Started
If you’re interested in enhancing the quality of child healthcare by helping address psychosocial problems facing many families, consider adding SEEK to your practice.
- Review the SEEK core materials to get a good sense of the SEEK approach – SEEK Parent Questionnaire-R (PQ-R), Guidelines and Responses to Barriers, Parent Handouts as well as the SEEK FAQs
- Indicate on the website if you’d like CME and/or MOC 2 and/or 4 credits
- Complete the SEEK online training independently or via the SEEK MOC 4 or PI Activity
- Be a “champion” for the innovation in your practice or find a professional colleague to play this role, with the help of a lead staff person
- Encourage other health professionals and staff in your practice to participate in SEEK
- Identify local resources to customize the SEEK Parent Handouts or use other similar handouts
- Prepare office staff for using the SEEK PQ-R and Parent Handouts
- Sign the License Agreement and submit to the SEEK project office by emailing rbelanger@som.umaryland.
